2026 Daifukuji Bon Dance Parking

Aloha Daifukuji ohana,

For this year’s Bon Dance, our temple parking situation is especially limited due to septic tank-related issues. To help welcome everyone safely, we are grateful to have leased additional parking space from our next-door neighbor.

The event starts at 3:00 pm, and the parking will open from 2:00 pm.

General parking will be at Midnight Tint Kona, located next door at 79-7156 Huliau Place. Signs will be posted to guide you. It is about a 3 to 4 minute walk to Daifukuji Soto Mission.

2026 Kona Daifukuji Bon Dance Parking

Temple parking (Special Parking) will be reserved only for:

Elderly and kupuna guests
Physically challenged guests
Essential volunteers, including Hongwanji Taiko

For those parking in the special parking(temple), please arrive by 2:30 PM. The temple parking gate will close at 2:30 PM. We ask all those who park in the special parking to stay till the end of the event, if possible

Additional parking at Midnight Tint Kona will be available from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Please be respectful of our neighbors and follow posted signs.

All Volunteers who can stay till the end should park behind the temple.
